01

Product

What Swell is and what it does.

What is Swell, in plain language?

Swell is a trading platform that combines AI with rule-based discipline. You define your strategy and risk limits. The platform handles the rest — from finding opportunities to executing trades and keeping a journal. You review every decision, you stay in control — but the discipline is built in.

Is Swell a broker?

No. Swell connects to your existing broker through their official API. Your money stays with your broker. Swell is the planning and execution layer — your broker holds the capital.

Trading

How trading works on Swell.

Does Swell trade automatically?

If you choose to connect your broker, yes. You can also use Swell to build plans and execute them yourself. Either way, the system enforces the rules you set — that’s the point. Discipline is where humans fail. A system doesn’t flinch.

What risk controls are there?

Multiple layers — from per-trade limits to total portfolio exposure caps. Every safeguard is enforced automatically, not suggested. We’ll share the details during onboarding.

Who it’s for

Whether Swell fits your situation.

Is Swell for beginners or experienced traders?

Both. Beginners get structure, guidance, and built-in discipline from day one. Experienced traders get the tedious work automated — scanning, journaling, plan execution — so they can focus on strategy. What both need: willingness to trade by rules, not by gut.

How much capital do I need?

Whatever your broker supports. We recommend starting with paper trading to learn the system before committing real capital.
